The Zimbabwe African National Union-Patriotic Front has appointed its Secretary for Legal Affairs Munyaradzi Paul Mangwana as its acting spokesman to give Simon Khaya Moyo time to campaign for the Senate in the elections to be held in 11 days.

Mangwana was beaten by Ephraim Gwanongodza in the Chivi Central party primary elections.

Mangwana represented ZANU-PF in the constitution-making process.

The party said Mangwana will be acting spokesman until further notice.
