In early 2004, the government clamped down on ZANU-PF business people, Philip Chiyangwa, Jane Mutasa and James Makamba.  Most people thought this was a prelude to cleaning up the business sector.  But things soon fizzled out. The MDC should have rejoiced because it had been exonerated after being accused of being economic saboteurs for five years. But they could not. See the other story:  Why the MDC is not rejoicing.
