Tsvangirai is fine- there is no need to panic

Movement for Democratic Change leader Morgan Tsvangirai is fine, “there is no need to panic”, his spokesman Luke Tamborinyoka said today.

Tamborinyoka, however, told Political Analysis South Africa that there is no indication as to when Tsvangirai will be out of hospital to resume his political schedule.

The party was hopeful that “by next week, he will be out and we will take our cue from him. But as things stand, all I can say is that he is stable”.

There were reports today that Tsvangirai’s health is deteriorating and he has three months to live.

Another report said he was stopped from travelling to Germany because he might not make the long trip but Tamborinyoka dismissed the report as “unfounded rumours”.
