Done deal tweets Mnangagwa as reports say tanks are rolling into Harare

A two-word tweet, “done deal”, on ED Mnangagwa’s twitter handle has sent people talking about what he means with some urging people to ignore the message because the tweet is not from Mnangagwa the fired Vice-President.

The person tweeting under the @ED_Mnangagwa sent the message this evening following reports which started circulating around mid-day that tanks were rolling into the capital Harare following threats by Defence Forces chief Constantine Chiwenga that the military cannot stand by while the country is being taken over by counter-revolutionaries.

One of the followers tweeted: “Budai pachena Baba nyika iwane huso, mukunatsotii chaizvo, kuudza mwana hupedzisira tingakurumidza kuzomedza kutsenga tichada kah???”

Another responded: “haasi ED uyu anyway idhiri reyi?”

Responding to Chiwenga’s statement yesterday, Zimbabwe African National Union-Patriotic Front youth leader Kudzai Chipanga said the youths would die defending President Robert Mugabe.

The situation is volatile and is being spoiled by reports on the social media which one cannot tell whether they are real or fake, just like the ED_Mnangagwa twitter page.
