Coronavirus cases in Zimbabwe on the increase again

Zimbabwe today recorded 37 new coronavirus cases, 20 of them in Bulawayo, as the number of cases seem to be on the increase again especially in Bulawayo and the Midlands.

Midlands had 12 new cases today raising the number of active cases in the province to 32.

Bulawayo has 116 out of the 238 in the country.

The country has so far recorded 8 147 cases but 231 people have died and 7 678 have recovered.

There are now 40.2 million cases across the globe. These include 1.12 million deaths, 30 million recoveries and nine million active cases.

The United Kingdom has overtaken South Africa and now sits at number 11 with 722 400 cases while India is fast closing on the United States. It has 7.5 million cases against the US’s 8.4 million.
