Saying of the week

1

Some of the opposition leaders are youths who cannot offer tangible leadership other than following foreigners like parrots without assessing the pros and cons to suit their motherland. Our destiny seems to be to dance to the tune we do not always know, without looking back to consider our own lives and economic development in the continent. This tendency to look to the West for approval has been accompanied by a harder edge to decent standards of political behaviour, typified by the rejection of any spirit of national reconciliation in favour of the politics of boycott, confrontation and ultimatum.- Daniel arap Moi

The Insider is a political and business bulletin about Zimbabwe, edited by Charles Rukuni. Founded in 1990, it was a printed 12-page subscription only newsletter until 2003 when Zimbabwe's hyper-inflation made it impossible to continue printing.
