Mugabe to reshuffle cabinet next week

President Robert Mugabe has announced that he will reshuffle his cabinet next week.

All eyes will be watching whether he will elevate his wife, Grace,  or not as she has reportedly been eyeing a government job as a step forward to rising higher probably to Vice-President.

Ministers, however, have to be Members of Parliament.

The First Lady is currently subject of court proceedings in South Africa where she allegedly assaulted a 20-year-old South African model.

The Zimbabwe embassy in Pretoria which had been representing her withdrew from the case yesterday after the lawyer, Simba Chitando, claimed that he was being threatened.

Afriforum which represents model Gabriella Engels brushed this off as a delaying tactic.

The last cabinet reshuffle was in September 2015.
