Marange diamonds

Two people Zohra Desai and Prema Desai were arrested for smuggling 48 663 carats of diamonds from Marange valued at more than $2 million reports said today. The two were arrested by India’s Directorate of Revenue Intelligence in Surat, India’s diamond polishing hub. The diamonds had not been cleared under the Kimberley Process Certification Scheme
